What is a branch plant (branch)
A branch plant can be understood as an individually operating branch of a foreign company which is established in a state different from the state where its mother company is registered. A branch plant in the Czech Republic was originally named “branch”.
The advantages of a branch plant include the fact that you do not have to found a new company abroad and exert a great deal of time and finance. You can start a complete business by means of a branch plant, which has no legal status, is registered in the Commercial Register, has an allocated identification number of organisation and tax identification number, and is an individual accounting entity obliged to keep double-entry bookkeeping.
